Evita Broadway Cast LP Sealed plus open Original Concept & London Cast LPS: Wow!.
This is a difficult sale for me to post. I love Evita, and particularly Patti LuPone's performance. I love my turntables and phono cartridges. And I particulary love sealed LPs because there's nothing like putting a never before played LP on one of my turntables and hearing the sound of virgin vinyl in all its glory. But enough.
Let's be perfectly clear: The only brand new, still sealed, never played 2 record set here is the Original Broadway Cast LP. But you are also getting the complete 2 LP performance that constituted the original concept LP for Evita. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice (lyrics) released both Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita as rock opera albums before they were made into London and then Broadway productions. This production stars Julie Covington and Colm Wilkinson, who later went on to massive fame in Les Miz! It also comes with a fabulous pamphlet with photos, info, plot summation, and complete lyrics meaning every single word in the show! And it's very good.
Now you also get the single LP London cast album of highlights. But there was never a complete two record set of the London cast LP released! The concept album was selling so well that some foolish persons decided only a single LP was needed, or that the public wouldn't pay for a double album. Anyway, all we therefor have of Elaine Page's performance on LP is included in this collection!
But the treasure here is the sealed fabulous amazing incredible copy of the Broadway cast LP with LuPone and Mandy Patinkin. By the way, the others are in very good listening condition. Please check out my 100 percent positive feedback rating on nearly 1200 transactions for reassurance. Thank you.
