Rare and obscure Thrash Heavy Metal LP by EXORCIST on Roadrunner records

Very hard to find ORIGINAL LP by this THRASH SPEED METAL cult band that featured several members of another cult band VIRGIN STEELE, BURNING STARR,if you want pure traditional Speed Thrashmetal than this is the REAL DEAL,an absolute must in your collection,one of my all-time faves,SUPER STUFF

Virgin Steele in disguise!

Here's the alleged story... in 1985, Jack Starr (Burning Starr) was on the way out of Virgin Steele, due to disagreements with the rest of the band. To let off creative steam, David DeFeis did some songwriting for Cobra Records artists like Piledriver, and also the band jammed with a new guitarist, Edward Pursino. Finally, they decided to record an album but could not release it as Virgin Steele since the name belonged to Jack Starr. They put out the ``Nightmare Theatre`` album in mid-1985. They then kicked out Jack Starr and one lawsuit later, the name Virgin Steele was Dave's and Edward was in the band. But part of the settlement was that Exorcist would remain Exorcist and not be associated with the Virgin Steele ``Noble Savage`` lineup that wrote it!

Interesting fact: The song "Call for the Exorcist" on the Nightmare Theater
album eventually evolved into "Fire of Ecstasy" that would, fifteen years
later, appear on Virgin Steele's album The House of Atreus - Act II. (The songs
are different, but some riffs and lyrics are clearly identical.)

This is a must in every Heavy Metal / NWOBHM collection and doesn´t turn up that often,very seldom on Ebay.
Very obscure,deleted and long out of print,grab your chance at a fair startingbid,GOOD LUCK when you decide to bid.
