Description
Exposure by Robert Fripp, guitarist for King Crimson. This is his first solo release, from 1979. He was living in NY at the time, where this was recorded. This recording features the "Frippertronics" style of playing layers over a tape loop, which also can be heard on David Bowie's "Heroes" album.
Peter Gabriel and Darryl Hall contribute vocals - other featured musicians include Barry Andres, Phil Collins, Brian Eno, Peter Hammill, Tony Levin, Jerry Marotta, SId McGinness, Terry Roche, and Narada Michael Walden.
I bought this at Rose Records in Chicago during an in store appearance on his tour, where he signed this and Evening Star for me.
