Description
Great private press Christian Folk Rock LP from Face To Face. It came in 1971 on their own label out of London, England. As Ken Scott describes it: "Another exceptionally cool UK obscurity from male/female outfit dabbling with folk, blues, and rock. Good unrefined electric guitar and 12-string presence throughout. Beautiful female vocals and tremolo guitar weaving a dreamy delicate stratospheric groove on 'Across The Hills'. More moody folk/psych touches on 'In The Morning' and 'Once There Was A Man', both backed solely by acoustic guitar and trippy reverbed electric. Same setup and psychy mood for the more blues-edged 'Love Was Born'. Same scarce tiny London label as Exordium's "Trouble With Adam".The songs are: Is There Blood Upon Your Hands?, Across The Hills, He Is Mine, In The Morning, Not Now But Tomorrow, Once There Was A Man, Are You Going My Way?, Love Was Born, Just A Closer Walk, Lord On Our Side, How Long, Amazing Grace.
