FAIRFIELD SKY

This progressive rock combo recorded three metal acetates in 1973 at Trident Studios. 

The sparse hand-written back cover notes credit each track to "Nigel and the group". 

The recent reissue on US Indianapolis-based label OR has brought it to a wider audience. 

Side one is the best, with Silver Tavern at times recalling Forever Amber, Circus showing traces 

of Deep Purple and the stand-out track Would You Mind/The Writer will appeal 

to those of you who like sound effects and psychedelic vocals
