On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Fairport Convention called "Fairport Convention" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1968 UK 1st MONO pressing!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP ESPECIALLY RARE IS THAT IT IS IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!!  THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A MONO 1ST PRESSING (NEARLY ALL ARE STEREO)!!!!  THIS IS THE 1968 POLYDOR 1ST MONO PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS MONO POLYDOR LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE AND 1ST PRESS MONO FULLY LAMINATED 'E.J.DAY' SLEEVE!!!!  THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN MEGA RARE MONO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is 582 035 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 1968 Polydor Label (see picture) and is an ORIGINAL 1968 MONO 1st pressing!!!!  All the tracks are Pure quality Fairport Convention at their best!!!! Any fan of Fairport Convention, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!! 

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, 1 virtually INVISIBLE hairline (only visible under EXTREME light), only 3 or 4 MEGA light wispy scufflines, 1 TINY surface mark, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, only a very VERY few low level clicks (barely ANY), NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only the very VERY lowest level touch of background noise on the VERY occassional gap and run on grooves.  This record plays BRILLIANTLY in awesome MONO!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The FULLY Laminated E.J.Day 1st Press MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light small edge creases (NO long creaselines - cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!!  The laminate is still VERY nice looking indeed with NO heavy ringwear - though there is some typical general laminate glazing under light.  But as I said before this cover is VERY flat looking, and has NO nasty long creaselines and NO bends!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO yellowing, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!!  This cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN MONO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
