Description
This rare record collecting is not straight forward, I have a box with vinyl waiting, some for years for matching sleeve. My latest acquisition is a very rare Lightin' Hopkins, on verve label, God knows where I will find the sleeve. As you can see here there are two copys of Fairport Conventions, Full House, both going in the same lot. As you can see the pink label is the original with original cover. But further to this there was a change of cover due to Richard Thompson not happy with a the name " The Jolly Hangman ". Both covers have the aforementioned name. The other Island label is from a much later date, and would not have come with this cover. The pink label has some marking, but plays through without jumps or skips, but is showing marking. The later copy plays beautifully. So I'm including both copys.
As you can see the inner sleeve is signed by five members of the band, three were involved with this album, the other two were from a later line up. If your looking for Richard Thompson, Sandy Denny or Dave Swarbrick, their not included.
