On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Fairport Convention called "Fairport Convention" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1968 UK 1st Stereo pressing!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS WAS FAIRPORT CONVENTIONS 1ST LP AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS HAS TO BE EASILY THEIR RAREST LP AND IS SO HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1968 POLYDOR 1ST PRESSING WITH A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS, THE 1ST PRESS 'FLAT' POLYDOR LABEL AND FULLY LAMINATED 'E.J.DAY' SLEEVE!!!! THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is 583 035 on the ORIGINAL 1968 Polydor Label (see picture) and is an ORIGINAL 1968 stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Fairport Convention at their best!!!! Any fan of Fairport Convention, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 NON sounding MEGA light hairlines (only visible under light), 1 small NON sounding surface mark (again only visible under light) and only a very VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! THE RECORD RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and only some very VERY slight crackle in places - though most of the record is CRACKLE FREE!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The FULLY Laminated E.J.Day Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (only VERY slight grubbyess in places - barely noticeable), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (Cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO yellowing, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!! This cover must grade Excellent (Minus) if not better!!!! THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
