FAIRPORT CONVENTION

"LIEGE & LIEF"

ORIGINAL Pink lable ISLAND RECORDS cat# ILPS 9115 ~ from 1969 Original pressing LP

A great progressive folk rock band and record album - highly regarded, and rightfully so! Some great songs, well constructed and recorded, consistent and with wonderful understated instrumentation in general. One of Fairport's early releases, and they were all of a high quality and standard. On Joe Boyd's 'Witchseason Productions' stable of artists - which included The Incredible String Band, John Martyn and Nick Drake.

The disc is in decent playing condition, visually only a couple of light marks not affecting play. ===============================

Condition; VINYL is VG++ and playing well, the music quality is great!
LABLES are VG++ ..... The GATEFOLD COVER grades VG+ as seen in the photo above. Handling wear, and some scuff to seams. Slight edge tear at the opening. Clearly this has seen some use, but no pen and all in one piece (all text is fine too) *
