Fairport Convention - What We Did On Our Holidays; their 2nd LP and their first on the collectable Island label. Classic 60's folk rock from this legendary British band. After disappointing sales of their 1st LP and subsequent departure of the original female vocalist the band switched labels and recruited the young Ms Denny. The full line-up on this rare early recording is Sandy Denny, Ian Matthews, Richard Thompson, Simon Nicol, Martin Lamble and Ashley Hutchings. Genuine 1st press, with pink Island labels with the orange and black block design (see photos) and fully laminated E.J. Day sleeve. Stunning condition throughout and fantastic playback make this a very desirable folk rarity.

Condition: The disc grades as EXCELLENT+. The vinyl looks almost pristine, a few light marks on either side. Playback is excellent, occasional pop or click in places, no skips or jumps. A side labels are clean, B side has a small square of sticker residue (see photo), no other writing, stickers or marks, no obvious spindle marks on either side. Plain white die-cut inner sleeve. The sleeve grades EXCELLENT+, very light ring wear visible under strong light, otherwise has no rips or tears, no writing, stickers or other marks.
