Fairport Convention

What We Did On Our Holidays - ILPS 9092

Original Island Records Release on the Pink 'EYE' Label

Very Rare 1st Stereo Pressing from 1968 - Fully Original

Matrix Numbers ILPS+9092+A
               ILPS+9092+B

Mega 1st Press Numbers!!!

The rarest Fairport Convention LP by far - certainly rarer than the first Album on Polydor sold in very small numbers when released which is criminal.

The Sleeve is the original 1st press sleeve With the MONO info box on the back.

It is the rare Laminated Front, unlaminated Back sleeve.

The sleeve has some wear to corners and a handful of light creases, top bottom and opening edges are in excellent condition, still with lovely sheen on the front, spine is still really good fully readable but has a couple of crease marks running through, no writing or stickers anywhere on sleeve.Back has light ringwear but is crisp. Wonderful for it's age and Mega Rare. Rated VERY GOOD PLUS. Safely stored for 30+ years

The vinyl has a couple of very fine faint paper marks (hardly visable) and a couple of slight and faint surface scuff marks non are deep. Still looks wonderful and shiney, would benifit from a professional clean(not to say it is dirty, it would just make a great investment peice) the labels show only minor spiders legs in strong light appart from that they are really clean, A really Nice example of this rare LP And all together a MASSIVE collectable IN GREAT Condition rates  EXCELLENT.

I have other Rare 1960's/1970's LP's listed Check out my other items!
