Up for auction at NO RESERVE is "Fairport Convention" on the Dutch Polydor label, catalog #2485 211. The record is NM. The cover is NM, still in the shrinkwrap. This may not be a pressing from the 60s, but it is also not of recent vintage. My guess is that it's from the 70s or perhaps the early 80s. If anyone can shed some light on it, that would be great. I have seen it sold as an original before and the bidding went quite high. At any rate, it is one of the finest folk psych records that I have ever heard and Judy Dyble sings like an angel and Richard Thompson is laying down some brutal and delicate (simultaneously) guitar lines. Though they would make many more great records, none of them burned as intensely as this one.
