Faith No More - Real Thing

 

The Real Thing" von 1989 sollte sich als das Album entpuppen, das über den treffendsten Namen verfügte, weil hier das Line-Up von FAITH NO MORE zusammenspielte, das als ,the real thing" gilt.
Mike Patton am Gesang entpuppte sich als absolute Verbesserung. In der letzten Sekunde als passender Partner für die starken, funky Songs rekrutiert, stieß er zu Roddy Bottum am Keyboard, Jim Martin an der Gitarre, Bassist Bill Gould und Mike Bordin am Schlagzeug.
Die Hitsingle ,Epic" machte ihrem Namen ebenfalls alle Ehre und ist einer der bekanntesten Songs aus dem FAITH NO MORE Repertoire.
