3rd album by Fal Frett, lead by the Bernard Brothers who played on most of the Marius Cultier's records, is just a beautiful melting between spiritual jazz, soul & caribbean funk. Don't miss out the blowing "Ziriguidum" a powerful modern soul/jazz funk cut with splendid vibes solo à la Roy Ayers. "Zoubi" & "Véronique" are deep spacy jazz between latin & modal with subtle Fender solo, "Chal' Babi" sounds like a Roland Brival track. And the last cut of Lp "Marius" is just a beautiful groovy modal jazz in the memory of Marius Cultier. Totally under the radar by jazz fusion collectors ! Essential.
