Description
This is a very good original U.S. mono pressing copy of the debut LP by D.C. area psych group the Fallen Angels, released in 1967. The group's forte was haunting minor key pop/rock, and their debut features several such songs, notably "Love, Don't Talk to Strangers," "Introspective Looking Glass," and "Your Mother's Homesick Too." There is also some adventurous psych rock (e.g., the album closer "You Have Changed") and more upbeat pop (the album opener, "Room at the Top," is a notable example). The jacket's main flaws are around the edges: a 5” split in the top seam, and wear in the corners (see photo for the most significant instance) and on the bottom and the rest of the top seam. The front and back slicks are otherwise in fine condition with some light ring wear. Overall, then, VG+. “DJ copy/Not for sale” is stamped on the back cover (see photo). The disc has some light discoloration and scuffing, and plays with mostly light surface noise and occasional mostly light popping (VG+).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
