A UK stereo album in original condition, featuring:

1. the group, ‘Family’ original first issue UK 1968 debut LP,

2. a more unusual stereo copy,

3. original first issue UK 1968 ‘tri flip back’, stereo stickered sleeve,

4. original first issue UK 1968, 'Reprise', tri colour steamboat record labels,

5. comes with its original ‘Reprise’ inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition. The front of the sleeve is laminated. The laminate has retained an excellent glossy finish. The two opening edges have remained very clean for their age. The spine is in very good++ condition and most of the text on the spine is readable. The rear of the sleeve features the original, period ‘tri flip back’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stains, ‘other’ stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good condition and is the original period ‘reprise’ inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained clean for their age. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There is a split to each side edge and a split to the bottom edge.

THE RECORD: each side is in excellent condition. The record is made of the original period 1960s ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. It has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: RSLP 6312 A 3G, hand etched and RSLP 6312 B 3G, hand etched.

The mother / stampers are: ‘0 ? 2’ and C ? 2’, the letters ‘KT’ are engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove each side.

THE AUDIO: each side plays excellent+, with excellent quiet grooves. The record plays with a full loud, clear powerful period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: each record label is in excellent condition. Each label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
