On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Family called 'A Song For Me' and is a 1970 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press '3-Colour' Reprise label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IN FACT - THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THE RAREST FAMILY LP EVER TO FIND AS A 1ST PRESSING!!!!  THIS LP WAS RELEASED JUST BEFORE THE REPRISE LABEL CHANGED FROM THE 1960s '3-COLOUR' LABEL TO THE COMMON 'TAN' LABEL!!!!  AS A RESULT - NEARLY EVERY COPY OF THIS LP THAT TURNS UP IS A LATER PRESSING ON THE 'TAN' REPRISE LABEL.  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  THIS IS A 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING ON THE '3-COLOUR' REPRISE LABEL AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS EXTRA SPECIAL AS IT HAS AN EXTRA & ULTRA RARE 'PROMO ONLY' INSERT (MAKING 2 INSERTS IN TOTAL)!!!!  THIS EXTRA 'PROMO ONLY' INSERT (SEE PICTURE) WAS ONLY EVER INCLUDED WITH A TINY HANDFUL OF 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS SENT OUT TO MUSIC REVIEWERS, RADIO STATIONS ETC - AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT IS SMALLER THAN THE STANDARD 1ST PRESS 'LYRIC SHEET' (SEE PICTURES) WHICH IS OF COURSE ALSO INCLUDED WITH THIS LP, AND IS MAINLY WHITE - WITH AN ARTISTS PICTURE OF FAMILY ON THE FRONT!  PRINTED ON THE FRONT IS 'FAMILY', "A SONG FOR ME", & 'FAMILYS 3RD ALBUM RSLP 9001'!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS A 1ST PRESSING AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WITH THIS EXTRA 'PROMO ONLY' INSERT!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS '3-COLOUR' REPRISE LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS 'LYRIC SHEET', ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'PROMO ONLY' INSERT, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS A 1ST PRESSING AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND 100% COMPLETE WITH THIS EXTRA 'PROMO ONLY' INSERT - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Reprise UK 1st pressing from 1970 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is RSLP 9001 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press '3-Colour' Reprise label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING visual condition - with the playing grade only VERY slightly less!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light wispy scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight low level background sound on the run on grooves, occassional gap and only the VERY quietest parts of the music (though mostly NONE)!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear either and NO distortion!!!!  The record must grade visually Excellent(Minus) if not better - with the playing grade only VERY slightly less than this!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! THE 1ST PRESS LYRIC SHEET IS IN SUPERB CONDITION - AND I DOUBT IF IT HAS EVER BEEN OUT OF THE COVER!!!!  THE EXTRA ULTRA RARE 'PROMO ONLY' INSERT IS ALSO IN SUPERB CONDITION AND AGAIN DOESNT LOOK TO HAVE EVER LEFT THE COVER!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in BRILLIANT condition and EXTREMELY hard to find like this!!!!  It was 1st Pressed as a Black unlaminated Gatefold Cover - and most look terrible!  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  It has NO edge wear, only very VERY minor roughening to the spinal wear (NOT through the colour and very VERY unnoticeable indeed!), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE), NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in SUPERB condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, and NO yellowing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better and is INCREDIBLY hard to find in this condition!!!! THIS LP SERIOUSLY RARE AS A 1ST PRESSING AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBILE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVELY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
