FULLY SIGNED BY THE BAND

Famous Jug Band's second album "Chameleon" was issued in 1970. The basic sound was simply three voices, a guitar, and a jug, with only a few overdubs (percussion and electric guitar) added. Perhaps surprisingly, it worked. Some of the material was extremely ambitious, notably "Golden Years" with its subtle use of electric guitar and time changes. The final track "Chameleon" which ran into Michael Chapman's song "Rabbit Hills" is stunning.

DETAILS

The textured sleeve is in great shape for an album of this vintage. The colours are bright and the spine is strong. There is some very minor edge wear which is to be expected for an album that is nearly 50 years old but it is barely noticeable. The vinyl is immaculate, still bright and in my opinion rates as Near Mint – for music of such intimate style this is essential - and there are no problems on playback, it sounds fabulous.

Finally, as an added bonus the record is FULLY signed by the band – try and find another this good.
