Here is a great piece of Punk Rock history. These are the original pressing plates for the 1983 Landshark EP by the band Fang on Boner records. These are the original plates from which all the 12" EPs were pressed. A fantastic one of a kind collectible. I bought these about 5 years ago from a guy who was selling off a bunch of different punk rock plates which had come to him through Subterranean Records. These envelopes show the notes made after the plates came into Subterraneans possession. Inside the B side envelope I found 15 of the b side labels. The condition of these plates appears beautiful, although notes on the envelope mention scratches. They also mention nearly 1800 records were pressed after the scratches were noted so they couldn't have been that bad. I have never had any test pressings done. When I bought these they came with a disclaimer I should pass on. These are sold for collecting purposes only. Possession and sale of these plates does not transfer any right to publish copyrighted material contained within. Or somethin like that. Just in case anyone is unclear you can't play these plates on a record player either.
