FANG - Landshark! - 45 RPM 12"
Boner Records
I am thinning out some of the duplicates from my record collection...this one is a vintage pressing of Fang's debut, Landshark! (not the 2014 remaster/reissue). Includes the hard to find original insert with lyrics and comic strip.
A classic '80s hardcore record, featuring Fang favorites "Skinheads Smoke Dope," "Destroy The Handicapped" and their signature song "The Money Will Roll Right In" (which has since been popularized by Nirvana...it's also been covered by a ton of other bands over the years, including Mudhoney, Metallica and even my old band). Don't forget Fang's crazy (and probably drunk) version of "Drunk & Crazy" on this album (written by children's author and former Playboy cartoonist Shel Silverstein, originally recorded by country star Bobby Bare). Killer punk!!!
MATRIX ONE: FANG 1 A
MATRIX TWO: FANG 1 B
CONDITION: play tested, solid VG+ to EX vinyl...looks shiny with very few light marks that do not affect playback. Sounds good 'n' LOUD, with minor surface noise noticeable during the quite parts (but the only quiet parts Fang had were between songs, and you should really be too busy jumping around screaming and smoking crack to notice)...no skips, no sticks...pretty damn good shape, considering the age and genre.
Jacket shows signs of age/wear (bend/crease in top left, sticker removal, wear around edges/corners, etc). [SEE PICS]

GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS:
M (mint) Record is new, shiny, never played.
NM (near mint) Record is like new, probably played a few times, but it doesn't effect the quality of a sound.
EX (excellent) Record in great shape, may have light marks, played more than a few times but low in surface noise or no surface noise.
VG+ (very good plus) Record has been played more times, it has more marks and surface noise, it doesn't skip.
VG (very good) Record has been played many times, may be more surface noise, but it shouldn't skip while playing.
G (good) Record is in bad condition, this is worth only for archive items - just to have that until you find a better copy
