Description
Notes on This Pressing:
- 1972 Reissue
- Fania Records SLP 355
- 2nd Cloud Label (mainly blue instead of pink)
- Stereo
- Identical matrices as the 1968 Stereo original
Please note, I grade conservatively and by the Goldmine standard, here is what you can expect...
For the VG+ vinyl - A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.
For the VG Jacket - Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. [This] will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time. Goldmine price guides with more than one price will list Very Good as the lowest price.
***WITH ALL THIS SAID if you have a Crosley or other budget turntable that comes in a suitcase, there is a chance with this, and every record really, that the tone arm, being the weak little thing it is, might bounce off, this is not a sign of a deficient record, this is an issue with the turntable. If you encounter this problem a penny taped to the top of the head of your tone arm generally fixes that right up.***
