Original 1968 Canada stereo press of LP on gold Vanguard label
The Far Cry ( self titled)
CONDITION:
cover: VG+
lite edge/corner wear ~ beginning of early lite ring
some soiling & small writing on back
vinyl: VG to VG+
several very lite surface marks &
1 surface scratch across all of side 2
plays with a bit of crackle in 3 or 4 spots
& quite a few clicks & lite pops
visually looks way better than VG ~ could probably
benefit from a good machine cleaning
I think this is a great LP ~ I think it’s New York Chic ~ I’m thinkin’
a few lines ~ all nite village clubs & goin’ home at sunrise……
but…hey, that’s just me…….

“Fuzz,Acid & Flowers”:
From Boston, this was a heavy psychedelic outfit with free jazz influences. Except for the classic blues track Sweet Little Angel, all the songs on their album were penned by the group and sung in a very rasping voice by Jere Whiting. The album was produced by Danny Weiss (Everything Is Everything) and recorded in New York. It's one of the few records issued on Vanguard Apostolic, the label managed by John Townley (from Family Of Apostolic).
