Original 1968 U.S. stereo press of LP on Vanguard Apostolic label
The Far Cry ( self titled)
CONDITION:
cover: VG+
lite shelf wear/soiling ~lite wear to edges & corners
faint beginning of early ring
vinyl: VG++ to Excellent
a few sleeve lines ~ a couple of very minor lite surface marks &
a lite surface scuff across a couple of cuts on side 2 ~ no affect on play
plays excellent with an odd occasional soft click ~ nothing that disturbs

From Boston, this was a heavy psychedelic outfit with free
jazz influences. Except for the classic blues track, Sweet Little Angel,
all the songs on their album were penned by the group and sung in a very
rasping voice by Jere Whiting.
The album was produced by Danny Weiss (Everything Is Everything) and
recorded in New York. It's one of the few records issued on Vanguard Apostolic,
the label managed by John Townley (from Family Of Apostolic).
