The Fastbacks - Live in America double 7" (Smilin' Ear Records, 1991)
The rare "Live in America" double 7" by Seattle pop punkers The Fastbacks. Fantastic packaging! The cover opens up like a book with the record sleeves glued into the front and back, divided by a 20-page booklet, a fold in color Smilin' Ear promo sheet, and one page Smilin' Ear catalog. The 20 page booklet contains release info, band photos, and a bunch of copies of Fastback show flyers. Most of the photos are from the live show in 1988 at the Seattle Center Mural Ampitheater that half of these recordings were done at (the rest were done at Seattle's Vouge). How rare is this? The rumor is only 80 copies were released (check the FLEX punk band discography online). These are great quality live recordings, totally an official release, 3 of the songs later appeared on the "In America" LP, 3 did not. The cover is in mint minus condition, it's got slight yellowing and some slight creasing along the edge where it was folded. The booklet and inserts are perfect. The vinyl has 3 or 4 super light scuffs that don't effect play (probably made by sliding the records in and out of the paper sleeves). I've owned it since it came out, I played it 2-3 times only. Included will be the original plastic protection sleeve with sticker advertising the record contents, but I'll also put it in a brand new sleeve.
This record will be shipped in a brand new plastic record sleeve and will be very well packed.
