Description
Every Tuesday between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm (European Time) I will offer old Punk records. My name is ‘punky_music’
Classic. All 5 tracks sound extremely fresh. In other words: hyper-melodic poppunk with sparkling summertime melodies. Their top produced first 12” was given 9 of 10 points by the FLEX book/website (US Hardcore / Punk Discography). The ‘Play Five Of Their Favorites’ EP is a must-have for all melody punk lovers and poppunk fanatics. Only 1000 records, released on the most legendary punk label from Seattle were made. You are bidding on the original first pressing, issued on the guitar player’s own mini label ‘No Trees’ records in 1982. Label mates are the VAINS (School Jerks), SILLY KILLERS (Social Bitch), CHEATERS (Man As Hunter) and so on. These mindblowing tracks named ‘In America’ / ‘No Lethal Hope’ / Fast Enough’ / ‘Wait’ and ‘Whenever I’m Walking’. Here’s the comment from the wonderful FLEX:
- no trees records. n3-006 / 5 tracks / jul 1982
- 1000 made. Rereleased on Never Fails LP.
- More hits from Seattle’s hardcore punk answer to the Bangles. Great poppy stuff and the right music for summer, sun and beach parties. (TK) [9]
(TK)
