FBI F.B.I. 1st LP 1975 GOOD EARTH / RCA ACETATE UNIQUE GDS 802 AWESOME

On offer here is quite simply one of the RAREST LPs you will EVER see (especially in this condition!!!!) by F.B.I. called "F.B.I." and is the ORIGINAL 1975 UK Acetate RCA 'acetate' label (done for Good Earth who were a subsiduary of RCA!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IN FACT, IT IS ALMOST CERTAINLY COMPLETELY UNIQUE!!!!  WHILST F.B.I. WERE MAKING THEIR FIRST LP 'F.B.I.' BACK IN 1975 - THIS FULL LP ACETATE WAS MADE, TO LISTEN TO THE TRACKS AFTER THEY HAD BEEN FIRST RECORDED!!!!  AND OF COURSE, THIS COULD WELL MEAN THAT SOME OF THE TRACKS ARE DIFFERENT TO THE RELEASED VERSIONS - AS THE ACETATE CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THIS LP WAS NOT FINISHED AT THIS POINT!!!!  THIS WAS ALMOST CERTAINLY THE ONLY ACETATE EVER MADE OF THIS LP (AS THERE WAS OBVIOUSLY NO REASON TO MAKE ANY MORE!) - AND SO IT IS ALMOST CERTAINLY COMPLETELY UNIQUE!!!!  AND YOU SIMPLY CANT GET ANY EARLIER OR RARER THAN THIS - AS THIS ACETATE WAS MADE BEFORE THE LP WAS EVEN FINISHED!!!! 

ANOTHER VERY INTERESTING POINT ABOUT THIS ACETATE - IS THAT IT IS MADE BY RCA.  RCA OWNED 'GOOD EARTH' AND GOOD EARTH CERTAINLY DIDN'T HAVE ANY PRESSING FACILITIES OF THEIR OWN - AND THEIR ACETATES, TEST PRESSINGS, AND STOCK COPIES WERE ALL MADE BY THEIR PARENT COMPANY RCA!!!!  SO CLEARLY THIS ACETATE IS 100% CORRECT IN EVERY RESPECT, AND MADE AT RCA - FOR GOOD EARTH!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS ACETATE HAS SURVIVED IN REMARKABLE CONDITION!!!!  MOST ORIGINAL 1960s/70s ACETATES HAVE LONG SINCE BEEN 'TRASHED' AND OVERPLAYED - RENDERING THEM USELESS.  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  BECAUSE IT WAS KEPT IN ITS ORIGINAL COVER AND BARELY PLAYED - IT STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'SHINE' AND LUSTER, AND HAS NONE OF THE USUAL HEAVY MARKS OR DAMAGE ASSOCIATED WITH ACETATES FROM THIS PERIOD!!!!  IN FACT, ITS LOOKS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1975 UK ACETATE (FROM WAY BEFORE THE LP WAS EVEN COMPLETED!) ON THE ULTRA RARE RCA ACETATE LABEL (FOR GOOD EARTH), ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE, AND ORIGINAL 'BLANK' PLAIN WHITE COVER!!!!  THIS ACETATE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (IT IS ALMOST CERTAINLY UNIQUE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL UK RCA 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Unfinished Acetates DONT have 'Cat Numbers' (as when these acetates were made - a Cat Number hadnt been allocated yet!) - but the Cat Number of the eventually completed and released LP was GDS 802 on the Good Earth label!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO stickers, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS ACETATE HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The acetate is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO scratches, NO flaking, NO cracking, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, absolutely NO sounding marks of ANY kind, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  The acetate also has its ORIGINAL mark on the VERY edge from where it was removed from the press in manufacture. There is also a VERY few MEGA FAINT hazing traces - though these are ONLY visible under light and ALL geniune Acetates from the 1960s & 70s have these!!!!  THE ACETATE STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL SHINE AND LUSTER!!!!  It is also great to find that the acetate plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  PLEASE NOTE - it is VERY obvious that this acetate has NEVER been cleaned in ANY way AT ALL, and I have only played it through ONCE on the VERY lightest possible needle setting to avoid ANY damage!!!!  It plays with NO skips, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO nasty loud pops, and only some VERY slight background crackle in places (which is common to all acetates)!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The acetate must grade Very Good++++ if not better - though in acetate terms from the mid 1970s this is more like Mint(Minus), as acetates from this period virtually NEVER turn up in better condition than this (unless they are dodgy fakes)!!!!  WHAT A BRILLIANT CONDITIONED ACETATE!!!!  Believe me this acetate is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The acetate also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 'Blank' Plain White Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO grubbyness, and NO writing (apart from the Cat Number on the front)!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS ACETATE IS QUITE SIMPLY AN AMAZING RARITY AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (IT IS ALMOST CERTAINLY UNIQUE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
