Description

So, when I saw the Decline and got the Decline soundtrack, in ninth grade, it was life-changing.  Of course I liked Fear, because they were so endlessly confrontational.  It was kind of crazy that Fear didn't have an album out!  Then the album came out in the Summer of '82.  I bought it, as I remember, at Rockpile Records in Goleta.  Pretty soon after Fear played at the Goleta Valley Community Center, ah, so much flying spit, there was a whole series of legendary shows (there's a great shot of me in the pit with Bomer at the Misfits show).  Aaaanyway.

I can't believe this record is on ebay for for $175 and $200+.  Looking at sold copies, looks like even a beat-up copy and clipped corners rarely go for less than fifty bucks.  And those ones don't even have the T-shirt insert, which is the best part!  So I'm gonna start this at $40 (one for each year I've managed to hold on to it, even after moving like ten times) and see where it goes.  Check the photos for condition.  The vinyl has some smudges (like fingerprints—I assume they'll come out if you used record cleaner; I don't know anything about cleaning records.  Yes, I should probably learn if I'm gonna sell records) but no scratches and I played it and it sounded fine.  IN fact it sounded great!  Maybe some surface noise from the dust.  Just remember, it has 40 years of punk love in it.  That's actually the best part!
