SORROW TEARS AND BLOOD
Fela's high point.
The first minute and a half of it is why I love the man and his music - killer bassline, syncopated snare heavy drums, sax, then "BAM TWO THREE FAH" - guitars then whole band enters and the groove becomes this big, lumbering funk animal destroying all in it's path.
"COLONIAL MENTALITY NAH MAKE YOU YUMMY NOW"
first original NIGERIA pressing
year: 1977
label : KALAKUTA / KK 001
tracks are:
[A] Sorrow, Tears, and Blood
