EXPENSIVE SHIT
U.s. MAKOSSA EM 23.15. EX+. Here is a excellent very clean original U.S. Makossa pressing of this fantastic Funk-Afrobeat album by the brilliant Nigerian multi-instrumentalist 'Fela Kuti'. This album contains just two superb long funky-Highlife-Afrobeat tracks. This LP is pretty much impossible to find as an original Nigerian pressing, these original U.S. Makossa issues are now also extremely difficult to find in such superb clean condition as this copy is on offer here. With this listing I have provided complete MP3s of both sides, these MP3s were taken from my CD issue, but the vinyl plays and sounds just as good with no clicks/pops or surface noise. The thick card cover with pasted back is in excellent+ very clean condition. Most u.s. printed vinyl album covers of this age were made from thick cheap soft card that was very prone to storage and ring wear, but this 'Fela Kuti' album cover is still in near top shape, the front and back are Ex+ with barely any signs of wear at all, the edges are the same and the spines text is all very clear and easy to read (please see the pictures provided, this cover is still near perfect). The vinyl has a excellent original deep glossy sheen, there are only a few extremely light sleeve withdrawal traces and a few ultra-fine hairlines that have absolutely no affect on play at all, you can tell that this album has been very well looked after and rarely played. Both sides play through perfect with no clicks/pops or crackle at all, this is just a fantastic clean playing copy that will definitely not disappoint in any way. The labels are in excellent very clean condition with no marks. The poly-lined inner sleeve is also in excellent very clean condition with no marks, splits or rips, the original Makossa advertising inner sleeve is a little tatty at the top edge and has also been repaired with clear tape at two edges, both inners will be sent to the winning bidder.

I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind.
