Description
This is an original 1975 U.S. press Editions Makossa International Records LP titled 'Question Jam Answer Volume 2', featuring three extended tracks from Afro-funk man Fela Ransome Kuti & The Africa '70 . It is Editions Makossa International Records catalog number EM 23.09. Track information is as follows, no running times are shown either on the cover or on the record labels: SIDE 1: Question Answer Jam / SIDE 2: Trouble Sleep Yanga, Wake Am. Africa '70 personnel are: Fela Ransome Kuti, Tonny Allen, Lekan Animashaun, Christopher Uwaifor, Henry Kofi, Tunde Williams, Tutu Shoronmu, Segun Edo, George Bruce, Daniel Koranteg, Issac Olaleye, James Abayomi. See the accompanying images for more information. Condition of record is VG+ with a very few visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Record has a few small pits in the vinyl play surface, this is a slight pressing defect which may cause a few very slight ticks for a few revolutions. Record plays through very nicely with the aforementioned few very slight ticks and a little bit of very light surface noise. Labels have no real problems. Condition of cover is a real nice high VG+ with the original shrinkwrap still surrounding the cover except for 20% of the front cover area, where the shrinkwrap is torn away and missing. Only minor cover flaws are a couple of small wrinkles, a little contact wear on the areas with no shrinkwrap, and some wear on the open corners and along the open edges as can be seen in the accompanying image. A choice addition to any Afro-funk record collection!
