The Festivals recorded plenty of good tunes, but none of their other recordings comes close to the unadulterated brilliance of "You've Got The Makings Of A Lover" on this 45. It's a beautiful mid-tempo tune that is heavily influenced by The Impressions. Listen to it below if you don't know it! Stomping northern soul dancer on the flipside as well.
