Now You Exist

Studio Barnhus Sweden

12" Cat: BARN 128
Rel: 15 Jun 26
Balearic/Downtempo Side 1 - Track 1. In Our Dreams Side 1 - Track 2. 333 706 Side 2 - Track 1. Hey Baby Side 2 - Track 2. Another Day Side 2 - Track 3. Now You Exist

Stockholm's The Field returns after eight years with a five-track release that folds neatly back into the looping logic that defined his early work, though it feels less sealed this time and more breathable around the edges. His music still turns on repetition, but here the loops seem to loosen as they run - as if the grid has been nudged slightly off-centre. 'In Our Dreams' and '333 706' settle into long, slow cycles, chords stretching and thinning until the tracks begin to glow from within. On the flip, 'Hey Baby' introduces a more direct melodic hook, while 'Another Day' threads a soft vocal line through the haze. 'Now You Exist' closes in a gentle swell, holding its patterns in place while letting the emotion rise through them.
