FIELDS - Self Titled
***SEALED***
An incredible find of a rare STILL SEALED 1968 original first pressing of FIELDS self titled LP on Universal City (UNI) Records. This rare 1st and only sought-after LP has heavy Free/Cream influence. Produced by ex-Merry-Go-Round Bill Rinehart Bass playing throughout is especially noteworthy. Second side consists of one very long track, typical of the era. Vocalist Richard Fortunato previously sang/shouted with The Preachers whose Who do you love was featured on the first volume of Pebbles. Fortunato also performed with The Vejtables and subsequently formed the WC Fields Memorial Electric String Band with George Caldwell of The Bees (Voices green and purple). The band name was initially shortened to ESB (Mushroom people) and eventually Fields. So this band had quite some heritage. This copy has NO cut-out, promo holes or saw marks!!. The Unipak Gatefold cover is flat and the corners are sharp. The shrink has split at the bottom left side about 3" and there is some very minor wear at that corner. There is also a crease in the lower left corner of the back cover and it is only visible on the backside. The front is flat. There' no stickers, writing, etc. There's no upgrading after this one!! This is a beautiful original SEALED copy and a great collectable that's hard to find Still Sealed. Don't pass this one up!!!!

NOTE: I use Priority mail to help avoid damage during shipping and to arrive much quicker. Media Mail takes way too long and is usually grouped with heavy books, etc.
I also double box all LP's in over-sized boxes (Large box inside an even larger box), as I don't feel the LP mailers offer adequate edge protection.
