original 1969 U.S. stereo press of LP on Limelight label
Fifty Foot Hose titled "Cauldron"
CONDITION:
cover: VG+
lite shelf wear/soiling ~ lite wear to edges & corners
lite ring top seam is totally split. bb lower right
vinyl: VG+(+)
a few minor lite surface smudges a few lite surface scratches &
a couple of tiny grit marks ~ nothing that affects play
~ plays excellent, but, with a few odd occasional moderate clicks &
some occasional lite crackle, noticeable mostly just between cuts
7 in some of the quiet passages
weird & haunting electronic based psych with great fem vocals

Although Cauldron went unnoticed at the time, partly because
it didn't fit into any neat "psychedelic" mould, it has certainly
stood the test of time and utilises just about every music-making
electronic device then available. Audio generators, echodette, squeaky box,
siren, ringing oscillator circuits, theremin - the list is almost endless.
Nancy Blossom also has a beautifully clear voice which begs comparison
with Dorothy Moskowitz, the vocalist with another pioneering
electronic band, The United States of America.
