Description

This is a SUPER RARE stereo 45 rpm PROMO release by Capitol Records in 1969 by the Group "Fire and Ice". One side is the song "Mirrors" written by Fire and Ice vocalist and trumpeter Ted Piercefield (who later joined the group Chase that received a Grammy nomination as "Best New Artist" in 1971). The reverse side is the song "You Don't Know" written by Isaac Hayes and David Porter. This record is very shiny and does not show any wear. The Capitol label (P-2673) is red and orange and states "Promotional Record Not For Sale" on each side. It is rated conservatively as NM. It comes with the original Capitol sleeve that has some wrinkling and slight staining and a small area where two penciled numbers (see photo #5) have been erased but still can be read. This orignial sleeve is still clean overall with no tears. It will come with a new poly outer sleeve to help protect this rare gem and new white generic sleeve as well as original Capitol sleeve noted above.
