Description
Here is a rare demonstration copy of Round The Gum Tree/Toothy Ruthie by the highly rated UK psych band Fire on original UK Decca of 1968.
Only a handful of these sample copies exist and consequently they are much in demand. This example is in brilliant condition with no flaws whatsoever. Both labels look lovely with no writing, tears or discolouration; there is also very little evidence of spindle marks (and certainly no spindle wear), showing this single has been barely played. The vinyl remains as black and glossy as the day it was manufactured while examination under harsh halogen light shows up hardly any signs of play. The disc lies perfectly flat on the turntable and performs superbly. This lovely well cared for demonstration copy comfortably grades EX (UK Record Collector gradings).
