FIREBALL 500 SOUNDTRACK - Acetate Test Pressing - 1966
One-sided MONO acetate test of Les Baxter composed songs from the 1966 movie "Fireball 500". The movie includes actors Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello and Fabian. I don't believe any of these songs were ever commercially released on vinyl. Plays at 33-1/3 speed. Sunset Sound Recordings. - Frankie Avalon sings the songs: "My Way", "Fireball 500" and "Turn Around" - Annette Funicello sings the song: "Step Right Up" - Annette & Frankie both sing in the song: "A Chance Like That" (**this is a very rare and hard to find recording. I've read that this song was cut from the film, and therefore never released in any form) - "Country Carnival" is an instrumental song.
Play graded very closely, per the following song by song breakdown: "My Way" - 5 louder pops and 2 skips at very beginning of song "Fireball 500" - plays clean on my turntable "Turn Around" - 2 relatively low audible clicks, NO skips "A Chance Like That" - 3 relatively low audible clicks, 2 medium audible clicks, NO skips "Step Right Up" - plays clean on my turntable "Country Carnival" - 2 pops, 1 skip
