Description

FIRST STAMPER:
Artur Rubinstein -
CHOPIN SCHERZOS -
Rca LSC-2368 - Preferred MS Edition –
SD 1S/1S –
VERY RARE!

This Pfeiffer/Crawford recording captures Rubinstein's re-investigation of Chopin's SCHERZOS. Not since the thirties had he recorded them, and so here we find more vibrance, together with "fresh insights and illuminations" that are far more fitting of Rubinstein's legacy and his earlier legendary work with Chopin.

This is a first-stamper MS edition, the finest ever made: Cover without fault, near crisp; first stamper within will play near mint.

For those unfamiliar, MS editions utilize “Miracle Surface” vinyl, the finest Rca ever used.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
