Description
I will declare a lower amount on the customs form for all countries so as to avoid/decrease high import charges. However, in the case of the EU all purchases are subject to VAT which eBay collect at point of sale. No shipping to Russia currently. This first pressing plays with stunning quality across all four sides and easily qualifies as a FINAL UPGRADE pressing. Fish has sometimes had 'quality control' issues with his records but this is not one of them! The clarity, depth, warmth and power of the audio is sensational and I cannot emphasise enough just how immaculate the playback is. There is no interference anywhere, no exaggeration, and as always I have played every track in full.
Limited to a run of 2000 and pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl this edition has hardly been played, once or twice at most in my opinion. The sonic quality would certainly suggest that and there is no spindle wear on the labels. All four sides are in lovely condition.
The gatefold has also been so well preserved and has retained its shape and structure perfectly. It has barely any wear and the lyric insert is immaculate. A stunning album in so many ways!

Visual description
The vinyls are in lovely condition and still have an immaculate jet-black glossy sheen with no marks or scratches. Looking under a bright light I can only see a small number of very faint superficial hairlines and there is nothing that stands out. There is one tiny heat bump on S2 but it has no affect on the superb audio, hardly worth a mention really. The labels are pristine with no marking and no spindle wear.
Play Grading
The run in on S1 is so clean and then the intro on 'Circle Line' plays perfectly without any background. Fish's opening vocal is the same and this high end standard is kept up as it progresses. This pressing plays loud and with deep resonant audio and it just could not play any better. No ticks, clicks, pops or static the clarity of sound is stunning throughout. Even the quiet end section plays beautifully. A Mint start to the album.
Again the depth of sound on the 'Square Go' intro is incredible! It is faultless and the opening vocal section is equally as strong as is the following chorus. The instrumental / spoken passage is STUNNING and the strings / vocal section plays with sublime clarity as does the Music box section. This also deserves to be graded as Mint
'Milos De Besos' plays with genuine quality from the get go. The piano intro has just one barely audible static and the first vocal is just as clean and fresh sounding. The chorus is 'as new' and it continues to play with a clarity and warmth that is equal to a vinyl pressed yesterday, a high quality one anyway! From start to finish the sonic quality is superb and put simply there is no intrusion of any kind. Mint
'Zoe 25' ends S1 with exceptional audio once more. There is no inner groove distortion and again it's the depth and clarity that are the stand out features. Every vocal and instrumental section plays with such quality and the powerful closing section is so strong in particular. Mint

This why we buy vinyl! 'Arc Of The Curve' on S2 plays with unbelievable depth and warmth, the definitive version you could say with not one iota of interference. The clarity is STUNNING. Mint
Showing a 'heavier' side to his music 'Manchmal' plays with great power and depth from the first note to the last with... you guessed it, no background of any kind. Mint
'Openwater' again plays with no intrusion and has only the bare minimum of inner groove distortion. I am sure many would say there isn't any but I am nothing if not honest, perhaps too honest! It is still a superb version and Mint- is still a fair assessment of the audio.

The quiet intro on 'Dark Star' is pristine and the opening vocal section is just as impressive. As the volume increases into the first chorus the playback is so strong and dynamic and it continues in the same precise way. The instrumental section is outstanding and the entire track cannot be faulted. Mint all the way.
'Where In The World' plays beautifully for a relatively quiet track and grades as Mint no need to elaborate :-)
The title track '13th Star' ends the album with flawless audio once more. The quiet intro / opening vocal is so clean and this clarity of sound is prevalent throughout. The more powerful 'mid' section plays with sublime depth and the quiet finale has no intrusion either. Yep it's Mint

S4 of course features live versions of 'Circle Line', 'Dark Star' and '13th Star' and there is no need to describe them individually as they all play to the highest standard possible. I will just say there are a couple of minor ticks between the first two tracks so it seems a little harsh to downgrade the side when this is not during the music! Mint
The Gatefold & Lyric Insert
The cover is in fantastic condition with barely any wear. If I had to say anything there is just a tiny corner crease in the top right corners and on the corresponding top left corner on the back cover. One minor 'rub' at the bottom of the spine also and that's about it. The edges, wide spine and opening edges are perfect and the front and back cover and the inside of the gatefold are immaculate without any marking.
The lyric insert is pristine with no marking or creasing. 'As new'.

Postage & Packaging
I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping. This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage. The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered. Any over-payment will always be refunded.
The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD). An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known. Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing. All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection. They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection. I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.
The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each. There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up! Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
