Description
44 years old from my own collection - bills necessitate sale.
A RARE 1st UK pressing of this 1964 LP by the Yardbirds featuring Eric 'Slowhand' Clapton, recorded live at the Marquee in London.
The catalogue # is 33SX 1677 and the matrix nos. are XAX 2725/6-1N.
I would class the vinyl as VG+ with minor markings some of which may well clean off, if I knew what to use. No major impact on the sound.
The laminated front of the flipback cover is almost completely intact with 2 slight creases in the bottom RH corner and the colours are very bright. The rear of the cover is slightly discoloured and the flipbacks are slightly creased. BUT for some reason I doodled on it back in 1965 (please see pic).
The labels are in EX condition with very slight markings.
Included is the original EMITEX inner which has some coffee marks.
Taped into the centre of the inner is an autograph of Clapton addressed to Lune which was my nickname at the time. This was obtained at the Ricky Tick club in Guildford on 19th February 1965.
A REAL SLICE OF ROCK HISTORY !!
