Description

This is an overall fine copy from a 1972 U.S. repressing of the third LP (fourth counting the debut 10" Sneakers) by the Flamin' Groovies, originally released the previous year.  The group was from San Francisco, but played high-energy rock that hearkened back to both '50s rock and roll and mid-'60s punk, and forward to '70s power pop and, with songs like this record's fine title track, the late '70s reboot of punk.  Because their sound was so out of step with the times, their early records failed to sell.  The jacket has ring, corner, spine, seam, and edge wear; staining on the back cover; and creasing in two corners and along the spine (VG+).  Visually, the disc is clean with some light scraping and scuffing.  A slight warp at the lip causes a light whoosh in the lead-in to side 1, track 1, that is inaudible once the track starts.  Otherwise, the disc plays close to M- with occasional light surface noise -- overall EX(+).

I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
