Purchased Brand New in a record store, this is the 1987 Gatefold cover, Second Issue on Black Vinyl. I HAVE NEVER PLAYED THIS ALBUM and Still in Original Shrink Wrap with one end opened to access album. Album access edge has a couple of slight rough spots (see pictures) and there is a slight  "factory crease" at top front left running along next to spine (see picture). Spine is nice with lettering being centered. All other faces, edges and corners are good.
Inner sleeve is a plastic Restless Records advertising sleeve. Some wrinkling and creasing see pictures).
Album vinyl is in Like New PRISTEEN condition with no visible "surface scuffing or scratching". Labels are PRISTEEN. THIS ALBUM WAS NEVER PLAYED.
The first pressing, limited edition clear vinyl with a gatefold, stickered sleeve. The second pressing was on blask vinyl. B5 is listed as "Lover Yer Brain" on the label and "Love Your Brain" inside the sleeve.

The Flaming Lips are an American psychedelic rock band formed in 1983 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The band currently consists of Wayne Coyne (vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards), Steven Drozd (guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, vocals), Derek Brown (keyboards, guitars, percussion), Matt Duckworth Kirksey (drums, percussion, keyboards) and Tommy McKenzie (bass). Coyne and Drozd have remained the band's only consistent members since 1991, with Coyne being the only remaining founding member following the departure of bassist and keyboardist Michael Ivins in 2021. However, since 2025, Drozd has not been touring with the band for the first time since joining. It remains uncertain if he is still part of the band or has left permanently.

The Flaming Lips in 1983 with Wayne Coyne on guitar, his brother Mark singing lead vocals, Michael Ivins on bass and Dave Kotska on drums. The band debuted at Oklahoma City's Blue Note Lounge. After they hired Dave Kotska as the drummer, Richard English joined the band in 1984. That same year they recorded The Flaming Lips  EP their only release with Mark singing lead vocals.

The group recorded several albums and EPs on an indie label, Restless, in the 1980s and early 1990s. 

After his brother's departure, Wayne assumed the vocal duties and the band recorded their first full-length album, Hear It Is, on Pink Dust Records (the psychedelic-rock imprint of Enigma Records) in London's Southern Studios, in 1986. This line-up recorded two more albums: 1987's Oh My Gawd!!! and 1989's Telepathic Surgery, the latter originally planned to be a 30-minute sound collage.
