UK FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP IN THIRD ISSUE GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL POLY-LINED INNER.
This album sold almost zilch upon release, the early-symphonic-prog-pop production and lavish stained-glass effect sleeve cost Fontana a lot of money, so the original sleeve was dropped almost immediately after release, to be followed by a black one then very quickly after that a white one - all these sleeves contained FIRST PRESSING vinyl because the album sold so few copies. Judging by the stamper/mother numbers on this copy, only a few thousand copies made it into either of the black sleeves. After this, Fontana gave up on the band, Phil Collins went back to his woodshed for a while, and later turned up in a little-known prog-band called Genesis - what became of him after that is anyone's guess - rumours have it he sold a zillion records as a solo artist and retired to Switzerland...

SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+, JUST LIGHT SHELF AND EDGE WEAR, SOME LOSS OF WHITE, OLD PRICE STICKER MARK REAR TOP LEFT. INNER VERY GOOD.
DISC: EXCELLENT MINUS. CLEAN VINYL WITH NO SCRATCHES AND BARELY ANY SPINDLE WEAR, JUST A FEW LIGHT HAIRLINES. PLAYS AND SOUNDS SUPERB.
