FLEETWOOD MAC: 1969-1972 features four complete albums – Then Play On (1969), Kiln House (1970), Future Games (1971) and Bare Trees (1972) – housed in a striking black slipcase. To ensure superb sound quality, Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering cut the lacquers for all four albums. The records look as good as they sound thanks to authentically reproduced packages, including gatefolds for Then Play On and Kiln House and single sleeves for Future Games and Bare Trees.
The set follows the band through an early transitional period. With Kiln House, Fleetwood Mac began moving toward a more melodic pop sound on songs like “Mission Bell” and “One Together.” At the time, the band included: Jeremy Spencer (guitar, vocals, piano), Kirwan (guitar, vocals), John McVie (bass) and Mick Fleetwood (drums). Christine McVie was at the recording sessions and contributed backing vocals and the album’s cover art, but she did not join the band until shortly after the album was finished.
The band’s shift toward pop and folk styles continued on Future Games with songs like “Show Me A Smile” and “Morning Rain.” This marks the first Fleetwood Mac album with Christine McVie as a full band member as well as the Mac debut of Bob Welch on guitar.
The line-up stayed the same for Bare Trees, which boasts a consistently strong collection of songs like McVie’s “Spare Me A Little Of Your Love,” Kirwan’s “Dust” and Welch’s “Sentimental Lady.” Although Kirwan was a dominant figure during the recording, penning half of the songs, this would ultimately be his last appearance on a Fleetwood Mac album.

We stopped including LPs in our catalog back in the 90's when our customers migrated to CD and cassette. We have thousands of vinyl albums in stock and have finally gotten around to listing them here. All are new & unplayed - Domestic (U.S.A) albums are factory-sealed while Imports having discs that are new & unplayed traditionally shipped to dealers unwrapped. A note to collectors: Our set sale items are modestly priced and I describe the items in general terms such as indicating if the cover has a cutout notch etc. since some buyers such as collectors and re-sellers care. As far as minor blemishes to the cover, bends in the cardboard, seam splits and tears in the shrinkwrap are concerned, I will note if I see them but after adding a number of items each evening, my eyes begin to glaze over and I am less likely to notice such subtleties. Remember that these items have been on the shelf for decades and some may show minor signs of storage or shelf wear. And while we pack the album nice & tight in the carton when we ship, it is anyone's guess how the box will be handled while in transit. I prefer to sell to people who are going to open the shrinkwrap and play the record and can live with a mildly bent corner. Feel free to ask about an item if you feel so compelled.
Combined shipping: Buy multiple in-stock items from us and we will reduce the shipping fee since sending numerous items in one box saves postage. For shipments in the U.S.A. the first item is $4.00 and each additional is $1.00. To get the discount, request an invoice AFTER you Buy-It-Now but BEFORE you pay. The savings for international shipping is not as dramatic. Combined shipping discounts are not available if you mix in-stock and preorder titles. eBay requires us to ship product within our stated handling time of 1 business day for in-stock titles. To meet this performance goal we cannot hold in-stock items to wait for a preorder that is to be released at a later date. If you want to buy in-stock and preorder titles, handle them as separate transactions with individual shipping charges per shipment.
