FLIP PHILLIPS AND HIS ORCHESTRA "FLIP" LP - On CLEF Records, MG C-693.  Extremely rare 1956 MONO 12" LP, double sided DEEP GROOVE with the classic 1st press silver & black "trumpet player" labels.  Thick vinyl with matrix number machine stamped in the dead wax of both sides.  The personnel:  Flip Phillips/tenor sax; Howard McGhee/trumpet; Benny Green/trombone; Hank Jones, Lou Levy/piano; Bill Harris/trombone; Ray Brown/bass; Buddy Rich, J.C. Heard, Shelly Manne, Max Roach/drums.  The vinyl is in EX++ to M- condition (beautiful gloss)!!  Plays absolutely great.  Tiny tear on one label.  The cover is in excellent shape and displays wonderfully.  Some of top seam taped very discreetly.  NO writing, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  Cake; Znarg Blues; My Old Flame; Cool; Swinging For Julie & Brownie; Lazy River (Up A Lazy River); This Can't Be Love; Cookie; Drowsy; Vortex; Milano; But Beautiful.
