Description
Absolutely beautiful original 1972 white label promo copy of Flo & Eddie's first album, The Phlorescent Leech & Eddie, on Reprise MS-2099. Flo & Eddie were of course Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan of the Turtles, and later of Zappa's Mothers of Invention. This was their first record on their own. Comes with the original fold out lyric insert, and the rare original paper tab that would have been partly inserted into the sleeve but folded to show song titles and other information when the shrinkwrap was still on it in a store. The disc is absolutely gorgeous and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. There are some of those little streaks that come from the acid in the paper sleeve, but it isn't damage at all. Really a pristine copy. The textured cover is also nearly pristine with only the slightest signs of gentle use. This is a truly top copy and a rare promo... hard to beat.
