FLORENCE BALLARD – It Doesn’t Matter How I Say It
(It’s What I Say That Matters)
ORIG Stateside 45 / SS 2113
(UK, Mono, 1968)
From my own collection, happy yet sad to present the rare sole UK single release from Flo – in its original DJ/demo format from 1968. A scarce release that you don’t often see, I’m happy to present it in absolutely superb condition, both vinyl and labels...
The sleeve is what I believe to be the original company one. No splits, tears or writing but some soft creasing in keeping with the years of storage.
The labels look superb. NO nasties of any description and no discernible spindle trails from what I can make out. Super pair of these iconic green Stateside demo labels!
The vinyl is a dazzler! Pretty much full shine. NO scratches, scuffing or hairlines. NO embedded dirt and no scrapes or residue. Visually grades M- (Mint Minus) and is a lovely looking addition to the collection!
IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays perfectly. By that I mean there is NO snap, crackle or pops. There are NO clicks, hiss and not even any soft ticks. Play grade is M- (Mint Minus). The run-ins are virtually CD silent and there is NO distortion, lack of clarity or loss of definition. I would imagine this has not had more than a couple of plays in its lifetime. I won’t say ‘UNPLAYED’ because if you’re not the original owner, how can you be sure? But this looks and sounds mighty fine!
FLORENCE BALLARD R.I.P. Not forgotten!
No reserve.
