Chuck Kirkpatrick's first record, prior to the Proctor Amusement Company, Game, and Crane. "Was It Meant To Be" was inspired by the Zombies (mood and melody wise, not so much vocally), while their rockin' version of Gene Vincent's classic featured not one but two rockabilly-inspired guitar breaks. Recorded at radio station WQAM and released on a one-off, private label out of Fort Lauderdale. Among their biggest fans was former Floridian Tom Hartman, who started his own now-legendary Aerovons group in St. Louis (with Chuck Kirkpatrick's blessing).
