Description

Fly On The  Wall 'Devon Dumb' EP (Next Wave / 1979 / UK / 7")

Beautiful copy of this rare indie / Punk 45 folks - looks barely played...I bought it as a new release when it came out, played it once and filed it along with some 2000 other 7"s in my collection...low starting price here and no reserve - happy to send a soundfile if anybody needs one...just contact me on here...

Only 1,000 numbered copies of this fantastic DIY punk 7” from the South West corner of England exist. This is number 568. All three tracks of the ‘Devon Dumb’ EP were born with excellent guitar riffs and really great lyrics. ‘Educated’ appears on the punk sampler BACK TO FRONT #6. The other smashers are ‘Lucky Ones’ and ‘In The News Today’. Original first pressing, released on private mini-punk label ‘Next Wave’ in 1979 (catalogue number Next 1). Also the withdrawn first 7” by CULT MANIAX was issued on this cult punk label. The sleeve is in excellent condition. The vinyl is a bit used but plays without any probs.
