The is the ultimate, the one-and-only career spanning anthology that this pioneering country-rock band ever received (only the Gram Parsons years are covered here; the later years would probably require a box set). Whoever did the compiling did a masterful job: not only are all noteworthy Gram Parsons & FBB tracks here, but sides three & four (the entire disc # 2) comprise of heretofore unreleased (but very hi-grade material). Needless to say, in their infinite wisdom, A&M did not find it appropriate to release this great anthology on compact disc. The tracks are: Hot Burrito # 1 - Do Right Woman - Wheels - Sin City - Christine's tune - Hot Burrito # 1 - God's own singer - If you gotta go - High Fashion Queen - Cody, cody - Wild Horses - The Train Song - Close up the honky-tonks - Sing me back home - Bony Moronie - To love somebody - Break My Mind - Beat the Heat - Did you see - Here tonight - Money Honey - Roll Over Beethoven - Wake up little Susie. The Burritos cover Everly Brothers, Larry Williams, Chuck Berry, John Loudermilk, Merle Haggard, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Bee Gees and their own originals. (d)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
